We're a community for creators and appreciators of the digital artform known as KiSS, or Kisekae. If the term is new to you, check our blog for a quick introduction to just what KiSS is all about, or jump straight into our collections to find KiSS artforms all over dA.

You don't have to be a KiSS artist yourself to join - the club is for fans too. However, please do submit any KiSS sets or resources you might have made to our gallery! There are categories for resources (bases, templates, palettes etc.) as well as completed and beta kisekae sets. Please keep us informed, we'd love to see what you've made! :D

Ahh, I remember Kiss. It was one of my pastimes in the 90's along with playing Jazz Jackrabbit 2, and Graal Online. And they still very enjoyable to return once in a while.

I'm having trouble getting my KISS viewer to work and I'm not sure who to ask for help. Can you point me in a good direction? I'm running Windows 7 on an old Dell, so god knows what's gone wrong...

It's hard to know, since the KiSS viewers are mostly not being developed any longer ^^; I know that Direct KiSS and UltraKiSS both work agreeably on my Windows 7, so maybe it's a video card issue? Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date (if you haven't already of course).

Beyond that, if you'd like to give more information about which viewer you're trying to use, and what exactly is going wrong, folk here may be able to offer some more advice :3

:( that makes me so sad...I guess everything has to have an end though.
the error messages told me it might be a problem with my video card, but I was on an old laptop, so it might be a pain in the ass to replace it. I have a few techie friends who might be able to help. luckily it seems to work just fine on my newer laptop, which is where I'm writing from now (I keep the old one at my boyfriend's place!)

The one I've tried is the most recent posted on OtakuWorld for Windows. Now that you've told me they're not really being developed anymore, I wonder if it's not the most up-to-date version but it's where I've always downloaded it.

Thanks for helping me as best you can! I appreciate it. :)

I've also had problems recently after installing windows 7. I can't seem to get any of the jpg2cel or bmp2cel programmes to function anymore.
PlayFKiSS still works though.
